General Terms

Intellectual property

Pipeline Lantern retains ownership of methodologies, templates, and anonymised benchmarks shared during engagements unless a separate written assignment states otherwise. Clients retain ownership of their proprietary systems, data, and trademarks. You grant us a limited licence to use your marks solely to perform the agreed advisory work and reference you as a client where contractually permitted.

Deliverables such as slide decks, diagrams, and written recommendations are licensed for your internal business purposes. Redistribution to unrelated third parties requires written consent. You may not remove attribution notices where they exist in materials we provide.

User obligations

You agree to provide timely access to stakeholders, read-only systems, and documentation reasonably required to deliver the scope. You will nominate a single point of contact for scheduling and decisions. You must ensure that anyone participating on your side complies with your internal security and acceptable-use policies.

You represent that you have authority to engage us and that your instructions do not violate applicable law. You will not request assistance that would compromise the integrity of third-party systems or encourage unsafe bypasses of required controls.

Termination

Either party may terminate for material breach if the breach is not cured within fifteen business days of written notice. For convenience, termination follows the cancellation terms in your order form or statement of work. Fees for completed milestones remain payable.

Upon termination, each party must return or destroy confidential information per the confidentiality clauses in your agreement. Provisions that reasonably survive termination, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law, remain in effect.

Acceptance

Services are deemed accepted when deliverables are shared with your nominated recipients unless you raise specific, documented objections within five business days. If objections are raised in good faith, we will address them through a reasonable revision cycle defined in the statement of work.

Silence after the review window constitutes acceptance of the deliverable for invoicing purposes, except where a milestone explicitly requires a signed acknowledgement.

Service description

Pipeline Lantern provides advisory services related to developer tooling, release automation, and delivery risk visibility for SaaS engineering organisations. Engagements may include workshops, written assessments, implementation guidance, and coaching. Unless explicitly stated, we do not operate your production systems, write production application code, or assume on-call responsibilities.

Deliverables are professional opinions and plans based on information available at the time of the engagement. You remain responsible for implementation decisions, vendor selection, and operational outcomes.

Liability and governing law

To the fullest extent permitted under Hungarian law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement during the six months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost profit damages except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Courts located in Budapest shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where applicable. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in force.
